Awakening of Chaos was formed 16′th of July 2006 by a small group of friends.
We started of doing Zul’Gurub, AQ20 and Molten Core in the olden days before TBC. We added a variety of great members with varying experience and from different backgrounds. The guild continued to grow and prosper with the members we had and new recruits we attracted. Awakening of Chaos became a well known guild in Steamwheedle Cartel.
As TBC came around we recruited a lot of very raid-focussed members and started raiding in Karazhan, later moving up to Serpentshrine Cavern and The Eye.
However, as almost every other guild out there we had our good aswell as bad times. A declining number of horde raiders on the realm forced us to look to new options to keep up our raid progression.
Awakening of Chaos merged with another well known guild on SWC called Diaspora and formed Apocalypse Rising, becoming one of the leading guilds on the server in only 2 weeks.
After around 6 months of glory with Apocalypse Rising, the guild started to fall apart as a lot people decided to migrate to other servers, mostly because of the bad battlegroup SWC is in.
A few months later however a group of core old school members decided to remake AoC, causing a rather large number of old AoC members to return to the guild and even migrate back to the server.
